Josantoes is a pharmacist! (Graduates, no working experience yet)

haha, on 30 May 2009, Josantoes is a pharmacist - pre-registered, fresh graduate with no working experience yet.

Looking back on year 2005, i applied for pharmacy course in IMU, then came to IMU and now completed the 4 years.. it's really fast. IMU brought me through a rather complete 4 yrs, turning me into a better person - live a fruitful 4 yrs in KL which makes me more adult =)

Thanks IMU for giving me such training, although i am not sure whether i am fit to practice, but i am sure that all fresh graduates have about the same level of competency :p The very best thing about IMU is that IMU brought me a group of great friends, which i am sure that we will be friends for the whole life and we shall gather again on VIRGO cruise nx yr =)

Leaving IMU means saying goodbye to my dependant life and the end of parasiting on my parents. I know i will need to earn to feed myself as well as giving back to my parents =) Walking down the stairs of kids and going into adulthood by entering into the job field, to me is not a good things - earning a living, working and working without complaint, saying goodbye to college/unversities, saying goodbye to fun.. ARGGGG~

Convocation is a happy day - to me, it is really tired. But i know my family is proud of me and they flew all the way to attend the convocation. Thanks mum and dad for everything that you people have given me by bringing me up, thanks to my grandma for taking care of me since young, thanks to all the rest of the family members who feel happy for me =)

Of course to "the group" - thanks for being such great friends, and see you all nx yr when we finish our PRP =) this is not all of us, eefen, michie, pingwei, laipeng, gianwan is missing la and of course to ms Law who accompany me through these few years especially during the time when i had my very bad backache back on 17/4/2009, thank you very very much =)

It's over...!

4 years journey in IMU will be over in less than 4 hours. Woke up early today, even the sky is still dark indicating that i should be sleeping. Not wanting to have "sour" and gassy stomach again during exam so decided to woke up early to eat and prepare to use the toilet :D but there is no urgency at all =(

Nowadays has sleep disturbance. Tend to sleep early, around 9-10pm but would end up waking up around 130-230am.. then happen to stay awake until around 415am at least before i could sleep again. Yes, so total sleep hours before OSCE is 4.5hr (9-1.30) + 2 (4.30-6.30) = 6.5hr

IT's DEFINITELY not enough!!!!! 

But then, after 4 hours, i can sleep for ... ermm.. INFINITY~!

Vacation~

Yes, officially on vacation with dissertation preparation, due date is 1 december so still early XD


Josantoes begins the vacation with a HK drame - the four. Kinda lame right the name, why don't choose a better one??? It's a zaman dahulu movie, no choice but to watch as this is the one left after Last one standing and the new 80 episodes movie only shows until 5 or 6, no point watching yet..

Hoho, long time didn't show picture of myself, so i will show this, taken in Dragon-i, midvalley, celebrating phylis birthday~ i will go back to kch on 30/10 and come back in a week~ Watch Axn whole day, eat home cook food, download movie. Yes, i am comforting myself, because dissertation is another 4 credit hour that i have to work on~ wish me luck k.

Phew ~ I am looking forward to Sem 8

Ya, i am looking forward to semester 8. I cant wait to get over this research semester. it is making me sick. Most of the time of this semester i am at home. Yeah, I AM HOME. Doing survey at home. it sounds lazy right? but then, i have done my survey and got the results already. Legally speaking, i am working on my thesis at home. Analysing the results - working on how to explain my survey which frankly speaking, not only it has not shown a correct correlation, it is getting me headache as the results is totally OPPOSITE.

I feel like fainting also if i presented like this : The results of my survey shows that ppl with higher ratio of energy expenditure/energy intake has higher BMI, waist circumference and body fat.

Sick right? this statement simply means that people who exercise and eat less will end up being FAT. its sick right? hahahah i also feel sick when i see the results.

But nevermind, josantoes is looking out for explanation. I am sure i will solve it and i will present it brilliantly! yeah, explain why my results s*cks!

okay, one thing, today i got my semester 8 posting - I GOT PUTRAJAYA!
yay!!!


ok la, it is clean, paperless (means all the details of the patient will be in the computer), dun have to go to ward and see sick ppl, dun have to worry bout bringing microbe back home, dun have to be paranoid and wash bedsheet every week.. hahahhahaha but there is negative side also la, lecturer said that we have to comply to their regulations and last year senior having problem in the hospital that they didnt manage to get enough case..

but josantoes will definitely work it out! No worry. hahahahah

Exam Toxicity

New discovery!

Diagnosis : Exam toxicity

Symptoms :
1. Positive symptoms - happy, excited, talk loud, cheerful, anticipation for the next one
2. Negative symptoms - dull, frustration, angry, moody, lost

Treatment :
1. Positive symptoms - go somewhere, enjoy the happiness during the break. Weekend ma!
2. Negative symptoms - Also go somewhere, release your anger, tension and frustration.... And move on to the next paper...

Side effect : Insomnia, euphoria, maniac, sleeping disease if treatment is abused.

Patient Profile : Josantoes
Date of diagnosis : 2 May 2008 - Exam toxicity with positive symptoms
Treatment : Go somewhere - Souled out, Sri Hartamas nocte on 2/5/2008; Midvalley window shopping 2hours prn(2-4/5/2008); intravenous infusion sleeping inducer 14hours 2/7 (2-4May2008)

Stop crapping!!!!

Sleepless night!

Goodness, I am having sleepless night due to this coughing episodes. Keep coughing and coughing.. Hard coughing. It's a feeling like my lungs is shrinking everytime i cough. Alright, I sounded like i am not an undergraduate pharmacy student.. but i really have that feeling. =.=|||

My cough woke me up. Woke kshih up, even woke wei up when she slept over at my place. I feel like i am infected with Tuberculosis or what??!!! It's really damn irritating. Today, i left the very last pill of antihistamine.... This means maybe i will not be able to sleep as soundly as the previous few night.. hehe this antihistamine is drowsy type!


The expectorant finish as well after the last cough episodes in the afternoon. Same thing, got up during sleep and ask kshih to pour 5ml of it into my mouth to stop the coughing and continue my sleep. I have been doing this for several nights.

Yes, expectorant from Xepa, is a very good remedy if you can't sleep. 15ml will do. I am taking 5ml because i want to get rid of the cough and i am not coughing so badly. It only come when i am sleeping.. Geramnya!


Now, i finished the whole bottle. So, i am substituting it with diphenhydramine from Kotra, Axcel. It contain the same ingredient so i am gonna see if it is as good as Xepa!

ALright, do not misuse it. Tried pseudoephedrine with xepa expectorant (diphenhydramine) 15ml.. feels like floating in the air. =.=|||

Sony PSP Slim & Lite

It's study break.. EOS form 28APril to 5May. GOodness, Charlyn and Wee finished theirs on 28April. I am so so so so so ... and most importantly, my PSP kena rampas by someone...


SOny PSP Slim & Lite, yeah slim and lite.. with the crystal case, it becomes fat. Bought it not long ago in lowyat plaza at a fair price i would say. Not revealing the price. My parents is reading my blog. hahahaha... =D Kshih take away my Sony PSP.. well, i don't dare to play, want to have more time for my studies - Musculoskeletal system, Toxicology, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, Current Trend in Therapeutics and Cancer Chemotherapy. =.=|||

The final semester that has end of sememster exam.. next semester is research, then will have a final semester in hospital.

Love my time without exam, i think study break is worst than exam week. Gosh.

Oh ya, went to kennysia.com to chat on his blog's chatter box. Met several interesting ppl, hey pal, if you guys are reading, it's really great talking to you all.. =D Can you believe this? hehe.. it feels like mirc.. MIRC when i am 14.

Compare : Bukit Jalil, KL to Cyberjaya/Putrajaya

The new Kl-putrajaya highway create a better driving moment for me.. better in a way that there will be no jam going to town, use less than 20 mins to go to cyberjaya to fetch kshih and erm.. not much car also so less HONK!~


Basically, got nothing better to do. So, try using 2 routes to cyberjaya/putraya from vista komanwel, Bukit Jalil. Actually there are 5 ways :

1. KL-Seremban Highway, exit at Kajang toll, join the damansara-puchong highway and will eventually reach cyberjaya.
2. KL-Putrajaya Highway, exit at Putrajaya Toll, then exit at cyberjaya 1km away from the toll plaza
3. Bukit Jalil -> Technology Park -> Astro -> pass through Palace of Golden horse small roundabout -> Sg Besi highway toll -> Serdang -> join damansara-puchong highway and reach cyberjaya.
4. Bukit Jalil -> same as 3. -> Roundabout, U turn -> South City Plaza -> Sri Kembangan -> Equine Park -> Cyberjaya eventually
5. Bukit Jalil -> Technology Park -> Puchong-Damansara Highway -> Toll -> exit to Cyberjaya

Okay, i believe there are more than the ways i can think off. Kshih has to travel from Vista to Cyberjaya EVERYDAY (yeah it's tiring). Previously, she used route no. 1 because it's easier to recognize the way to and back from cyberjaya and it's not jam (compared to other route) during peak hours. But, toll - each day, RM1.80 (Sg Besi toll -> Kajang) and RM1.60 (UPM toll -> Sg Besi toll) so it's RM3.40. I would say it's the furthest - around 70++km to and from cyberjaya.

Route 3,4 and 5 not used because she cannot recognized the way there although i have tried several times to bring her and identify those significant, yes, SIGNIFICANT sign for her. Toll RM1.30 per trip which means RM2.60 for route 3, NO toll for route 4, and RM1.00 toll for route 5.

But with the new KL-Putrajaya highway, one trip to and back from cyberjaya cost RM5.00, but is less than50km.. see? in a long run, save petrol, save car maintenance.. no need to service before 3 months and TIME. Some more less car, less accident also..

Okay, it's time to sleep la. Ate Kangkung belacan now my leg damn itchy.. -.-|||
Hope it goes away when i woke up. No progress today, still toxico halfway.

Free!

Nowadays is kind of free.. except i still have a presentation on thurs.. well.. Malaccans go back to hometown, as well as the Perakan.. left alone all the sarawkian in vista.. hehe..

going to watch movie now.. done all the things i plan to do : housework. right, housework. i sweep and mop the floor, as well as doing laundry which i cant remember when is the last time i did all that.. its a very very very relaxing weekend and weekdays...

hehe.. gotta go and watch movie.. and tonight i will prepare and tidy my sem6 notes..

Last paper.. long suffer

I guess exam isn't that bad.. sometimes, during holidays, i do miss lecture time, study break and exam.. Sleeping and doing anything other than studies is fun during exam time.. even boring cartoon will make me feel good...

another few hours.. i would be having my last paper for semester 5.. It's community pharmacy. Alright, i am doing sth which i am not interested AGAIN. I enrolled a course in the first place which wasn't my first choice.. then, i came to KL which again, is not my first choice.. and now, i have to sit for this paper, which apparently i will not be doing in the future.. Community pharmacist.. Aduh, i think i would rather rot at home..

Alright, the important thing is - i am glad with the thing i have now.. because i am happy!~

Great ending...

Today ended with a beautiful sunset... These few days keep raining.. Finally today, the sun is shinning bright until i feel hot inside the aircon room... But i like the golf view.. especially when it looks like this...

Time has been passing very fast.. i still remember the first time i stand at this window when i moved in beginning of semester 2.. and i took the following picture...


The golf view looks so bright and lively when the light is on.. hehe.. i really love the view outside my window.. and i remember i posted last time about how much i wanted to be like those "ah pek" down there playing golf when they have so much money and nth better to do.. haha...

Now.. ok la.. all i wanted to say is.. the moment i look at pharmaceutics I in semester 2, i wonder how much time it takes to finish the whole pharmaceutics ( from I to IV ). Today, finally i did it.. I walked through the path and i completed pharmaceutics IV... This means how senior i am already in IMU.. i have 2 batches of junior.. and next year, there will be another new batch...


Throughout these years in KL.. I have found some good and great friends.. of course there are many moment that we shared together.. hmmm.. how about after graduation...? how will my life be? Most importantly, i don't even know where i will be posted.. Sh*t! ok.. back to real life.. stop crapping!! There are still 2 papers..

By the way, this whole big group is formed by 3 or 4 small groups... hehe..

Crapping.. i think i've reached a high level of crapping ability... =)

CNS is killing.. whole stacks of notes as thick as Rang&Dale (nowadays is R&D, R & Flower).
Whole cGMP guideline - which i still wondering which guide is under which headings...
Pharmacist as Healthcare Professional Modules which sounds more like a statement than a title of a major module...
Community Pharmacy Module - another no specs coverage..
Reproductive System which is unpredictable and kinda Mad...
Endocrine System is so far so good.

So, how good does it sounds? I don't know when i could concentrate more...
I'm ready to pack and leave this week of stress!
